Wildlife

If you love wildlife, Luchon is a great location for bird watching as numerous birds of prey fly over the mountains with deers, horses and cows roaming the hills. 

Extraordinary sights

Just a short drive, there is a fantastic walk through a mountain which takes you to this amazing lake, Lac D'oo is a lovely spot and a great day out for all on top of that it's free and a great place to take holiday snaps. 

Tour de France

The Tour de France often has Luchon on the route,  passing straight through the town outside our apartment again it is a lovely experience with a great chance to join in with the french atmosphere. 

Flower festival

The flower festival is an annual festival with is normally the last weekend of August, it is a three day party with flower displays, dancing, music and many talents. Our apartments allows free access to the festival as the festival goes on till early hours it can be noisy but good fun. The street closes and drinks flow.

Luchon summer

Summer in Luchon is such an active place if you want it to be, with paragliding, walking, biking, swimming & rafting. As the local swimming pool with a diving pool and baby pool is just 10 minute walk away and the white waters are a 15 minute drive. Additionally events are held in the town if go at the right time, with the flower festival and Tour de France. 

Luchon winter

Winter in Luchon, in the heart of the Pyrenees, you are surrounded by mountains which is filled 

with amazing things to do, like skiing, boarding, paragliding & sledging. The active mountains are a short ride in the gondola to the ski resort Superbagneres, this is just minutes away, there is also chance to socialise with numerous bars and restaurants just steps away from the apartment. Additionally shops line the streets and at the end stands the 'thermes' which offers a spa and pool to relax after a long day on the slopes.

Viewing Apartment

A two bedroom apartment, with a twin room and a double room. A separate toilet to bathroom, a living area with a sofa which can be a double bed for more guests. And a kitchen. Sleeps 4 but can fit 6 people. 

Our Luchon apartment

A cosy little apartment in the heart of the Pyrenees, fresh whites and natural wood qualities part of a house with three other apartments. It is a great escape for all weathers, a few steps away from Luchon's shops, bars and restaurants and a few minutes from the bubble which takes you up to the activate mountain.
